A/ There are two systems available the
Pro700, and the
Alphacom.
Both have
Cleanroom Stations
the Pro700 support’s 40 stations and does not have a central exchange, so wiring is very simple,
but the disadvantage is there is only one Speech Channel.
AlphaCom is fully expandable up to 138,000 stations in one location or varies sites globally. There are multiple Speech Channels

A/ speech channels are used to connect stations.
A conversation between two stations uses a speech channel.
If a system has one speech channel (Pro700) and two people are talking, the rest of
the system will be engaged. No other connections can be maid. Except a Emergency Call
which has priority over all other calls except Silent Alarm.
The
Alphacom
system has two speech channels, and the option of adding multiple speech channels.
For every extra subscriber board (6 Station board) added you have an extra speech channel.

A/ A Clean Room Station is a station designed for hospital operating theatres,
patient solitary confinements and other clean rooms. The station front foil is made
with Micro ban technology which provides dependable and constant protection against
bacterial contamination.
When bacteria come into contact with the foil, the antimicrobial function disrupts the bacterial cell wall killing or inhibiting bacterial growth. Further more, the station foil is resistant to chemicals and cleaners, and has an excellent scratch resistance.
When flush mounted in the wall and sealed along the rim, there is no risk of fluid
penetration into the station.

A/ A foot switch can be interfaced to most intercom stations in the
Pro700 &
Alphacom range.
The switch is normally a pneumatic type switch which has a pneumatic
to electronic relay. The relay provides a switch contact to open a pre-programmed
voice communication channel.

The CB 600 intercom system is no longer made but we can some times repair it.
We some times have stock of reconditioned CB 600 desk stations if you require a replacement.
The CB 600 was replaced by the Pro700. The
Pro700
looks the same as CB 600 but
the two systems will not work together although you can exchange CB 600 with the Pro700, making use of the same wiring and power supply’s. The CB 600 system is restricted to 16 subscribers, the Pro700 has capacity for 40 stations. The Pro700 Station range is available
here .
