Function
In many applications it is necessary to control
an output of a routing switcher via an external
source, particularly from camera joysticks
(OCP’s) for “joystick override”or
from an edit controller for recorded delegation.
Previously, there has been no simple, parallel
interface for the current range of Thomson
routing switchers. With the introduction of
this product a CP300 or 330 (24 or 48 x 1 matrix
control panel) may be retrofitted to allow
simple contact closure control of the output
bus associated with that panel. This modification
kit also includes the advantage of an internal
mains power supply to allow the control panel
to be powered directly from a 85 to 264V,47
to 440Hz source (fully automatic) via a standard
IEC connector.
